How and when do I pay for my ServicePac?
Europlus Direct only accepts full payment in advance via bank transfer.
Does the ServicePac cover any back-ups of my data?
Yes, but only if you have purchased a ServicePac for software support explicitly stating this.
Does the ServicePac still apply if I modify my IBM hardware in any way?
Yes, but only if genuine IBM parts have been used for modification.
Can I transfer a ServicePac from one machine to another?
No, each machine requires its own ServicePac.
Can someone else adopt my ServicePac contract if I decide to sell/give away my IBM hardware?
No, the services of the ServicePac are only available to the person who has been registered as contractor.
Does my ServicePac renew itself automatically after it expired?
No, once your ServicePac is about to expire, Europlus Direct will contact you to ask on how to proceed.
Is it possible to pay afterwards rather than in advance?
No, Europlus Direct only accept payment in advance.
Are there also services in regard to software problems or setting up the hardware?
Yes, there are also ServicePacs available that cover software and set-up support.
Whom do I contact if I have problems with my IBM hardware?
You will be provided with contact details of your local IBM Support Assistant, who will be happy to aid you.
What do specifications like 7x24x4 or CS mean?
They mean seven days a week, 24 hours a day and 4 hours response time and Committed Service, respectively.

How long is a quotation valid for?
All quotes are valid for 14 days or as specified and are subject to change in accordance with IBM pricing.
What service levels are available?
Hours of coverage range from 9×5 to 24×7 cover, service levels range from next business day to same day service, allowing you to tailor your order to suit your needs and budget. In some instances a committed fix is available – please contact the team to find out more.
How do I pay?

Why does an IBM service have to be purchased in the country where my hardware is located?
Legislation states that IBM services must be purchased in country.
