Available as either Upgrade or Post Warranty options, the software includes problem determination, problem resolution, delivery and installation of solutions. It also contains usage advice for your product, performance and capacity management, availability management and preventive care.
The IBM software you decide on will depend on your equipment’s current support status. If your hardware is new, a Software ServicePac Upgrade is what you need. If the base warranty or Upgrade ServicePac has expired, or is near its expiry date, then you need the IBM Post Warranty ServicePac.
